Day 4: October 11, 2005 - Part 3 |
|

|
The end of the
day. An unofficial extra program: Pop-Rock Quiz Championship.
Twenty seven participants are chosen among those who were
willing to participate. This resulted in nine trios, in each
of which a participant had to push a button and name the title
of the song just aired and its author. Having answering both
of them right scores you two points while having only half of
the answer - either the title or the author - scores you only
one. If you are not sure about the rest half of the answer it
is more wisely not to say it at all. Because while the right
title (or author) scores you 1 point, the wrong author (or
title) scores you -1 points, thus bringing you 0 as the
result.
The nine winners from the initial trios (one from
each) were grouped into the three semi-final trios, and then
it came to the final trio. The fight was hard and the
spectators were totally excited and energized with its flow.
And the winner became... Byron Calver from Canada! Byron was among
the Top 10 chosen for the Wednesday's Play off, but since he
didn't become this year's champion that day, at least his
Tuesday's night victory had brought him a trophy he could take
with him back home from the Championship. Our
congratulations! The victory was in fact amazing and shining! |
