Pi Day 2009 - 3/14 1:59pm, The Exploratorium   Welcome to 21st celebration of Pi Day, an international "geek" holiday founded at the Exploratorium Museum, San Francisco. It will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2009 from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. throughout the Museum. Pi Day Procession starts at 1:50 p.m. with gathering in the McBean Theater at 1:30 p.m. Pi Procession culminates at exactly 1:59 p.m. with circumambulating the Pi Shrine 3.14 times while singing Happy Birthday to Albert Einstein. Yes, this year's Pi Day is also Albert Einstein's 130th birthday! After that - have a slice of sweet pie!
