The 17th World Puzzle Championship (WPC) will take place October 27 -
November 1, 2008 in Minsk, Belarus. This will be the first WPC ever
organized in a post-USSR country! A year ago the event had been
planned in one of the three post-USSR Baltic countries, but because of
some technical reason it has been changed for Belarus several months
ago.
There are still a couple of days left for national teams to register
for the event. Take a look at the list of the already registered
teams.
Organizers have collected in one PDF file (Download
- 976 Kb) the puzzles from the 7th Belarusian Puzzle championship
and the 10th Russian Puzzle Championship, claiming the authors of
those championships will create the significant part of the puzzles
for the upcoming WPC, and some types presented in the file will be
definitely included into the WPC's instruction booklet!
