Annual Mind Games® competition, run by American
Mensa, was held on April 24-26 in Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky. It's a
national event in which American Mensans get together to play and rate
the latest board and card games over one spring weekend. Game
manufacturers enter their newest products in pursuit of the Mensa
Select® seal — proof that the most avid game-players in the country
have judged their games to be the best.
The 2009 National School SCRABBLE® Championship
took place on April 24-25, 2009 at the Rhode Island Convention Center,
Providence, RI. Fifth graders Andy Hoang and Erik Salgado of Salem
Elementary School, Apex, North Carolina became champions of 2009!
Welcome to 21st celebration of Pi Day, an
international "geek" holiday founded at the Exploratorium Museum, San
Francisco. It will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2009 from 1 p.m. to
3:30 p.m. throughout the Museum.

International Rubik's Cube Competition at the Exploratorium
Come watch the world's greatest solvers of the Rubik's Cube compete
for the fastest times under improbable circumstances. New World
Records have been set at the last three Exploratorium-hosted Rubik's
Cube events. Will it happen again?
