This trick can be performed in such a way.
You secrete the match inside the box as shown in the illustration, so
that the match is placed over the edge of the tray of the box.
While closing the box you press this extra match with your thumb and
it falls down into place. Do this quickly and carefully, so that
nobody can notice how you move this additional match. |
