Nine pearls are placed in the cells of a 9x9 grid
in such a way that no pearl is in the same row, column, or diagonal as
any other one.
It is known that three pearls can be moved to adjoining cells
(horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) and yet no pearl would be in
the same row, column, or diagonal.
Can you figure out these three pearls and the adjoining cells they
should be moved to? |
