Take a square piece of paper with
one color on one side and another on the other. Now rule the square
into nine squares as shown on the left. You may also use our prepared
PDF Print 'n' Play version
of such a square.
The question is if it's possible by cutting only along the ruled
lines, cut out from this square a pattern (it must be a single piece)
that will fold along the ruled lines into a cube that has just one
color on the outside?
No cuts or folds are allowed that are not along the ruled lines that
divide the piece of paper into the squares. |
